Our unique toy and school collection gives a glimpse into the typical childhood days of the children of early settlers.  Our oldest items date back to the 1850s when the settlers brought the toys with them upon immigrating to New Zealand. We have one or two of these early toys available in the schoolroom for children to play with and see what the children of ‘another time’ enjoyed doing.
